Japanese Radish Recipes

Instructions

  1. Make sure to wash and peel off the radishes before using them. Thoroughly wash the radishes and peel off its skin using a peeler. Next, slice the radish into cubes.
  2. Take a proper pot and add all of the mentioned ingredients. In the sauce of your choice, you can add your favorite sauce according to your taste. You may use BBQ sauce or oyster sauce, or any other you like.
  3. On a medium flame, let the overall ingredients boil, and remember to make sure that your pot remains covered. In between, you can check if your Daikon is ready or not by using a fork to check its tenderness. Once you think you have achieved the right amount of tenderness, your dish is done.   • 500 ml Dashi stock

Instructions

  1. Make sure to wash and peel off the radishes before using them. Thoroughly wash the radishes and peel off its skin using a peeler. Next, the shape you cut your Daikon into is really important. Make sure to cut them into similar cylindrical or round shapes. You may want to make sure you fit it into equal parts.
  2. Cut the round edges of the Daikon twice so that your Daikon doesn’t break amidst cooking.
