Below are the ingredients and step by step instructions required for preparing a sumptuous radish leaf soup.
Ingredients
- 1½ table soup of salted butter
- Olive oil
- 2 medium-sized onions (chopped)
- Salt
- 3 tablespoons of Black pepper (grounded)
- 2 Chopped garlic cloves
- 1½ medium-sized potatoes
- 3 cups of Water
- 3 hand full of Radish leaves
- 2½ cups of chicken stock
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- ½ cup of heavy cream
Step by step instruction
- On medium heat, place a medium-sized skillet and add the salted butter. Add olive oil and allow the butter to melt.
- Chopped onions and garlic should be added to the skillet on medium heat. Fry onions until it is cooked and transparent. Add spices like black pepper and salt for taste. Stir mixture for 4 minutes.
- Chopped potatoes and water should now be added to the skillet. Cover the skillet and allow it to cook until potatoes are soft enough to be mashed in the soup.
- The stock and radish leaves are added next to the mixture. Stir and close skillet to allow it simmer and the radish leaves to get slightly cooked. After 2 minutes put off heat.
- Allow the mixture to cool down properly before adding it to the food processor. Now, add cream and mustard to the food processor. Blend until smooth. Warm again before serving it to your guests and also you can garnish it to your taste.
This soup can be preserved for a maximum of four days in the refrigerator, after which it shouldn’t be eaten again.
