Radish Soup Pesto Recipe

My favorite radish dish is radish soup pesto. It is my favorite because the fact is that It keeps my weight in check and I do not have to worry about excess fat. I also love it because it can be eaten alongside pasta and chicken. In a bid to get you started on radish leaves, my home-made recipe for radish leaves pesto has been added to this article.

Ingredients

  1. 2 hand full of radish
  2. 1 ounce of hard cheese (finely chopped)
  3. 1 ounce of nuts (any kind of nuts; pistachios, almonds, walnut and pine nuts)
  4. 1 garlic clove (grounded)
  5. Lemon zest
  6. 3 tablespoons of Olive oil
  7. Salt
  8. Chili pepper

Directions on How to Prepare Radish Leaf Pesto

  1. Remove all the leaves from the stem of the plant and wash the leaves properly. After that, add the leaves, the cheese, and the nuts to the food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Add oil, lemon zest, garlic, and the spices to the grounded mixture. Blend again until it’s smooth.
  3. Taste it to be sure the taste is up to par. If it is not, add salt and pepper to your taste.
  4. You can preserve this by putting it in a container and placing it in the refrigerator until ready for use.

Radish leaf pesto can also be eaten with bread and added to the salad. Asides from radish leaf pesto, another radish dish I enjoy preparing and eating is the radish leaf soup
